For who will testify, who will accurately describe our lives if we do not do it ourselves?

I always felt that I didn’t have confidence in myself, that I always messed up on things, that I could never accomplish anything.  I felt that everything I did wasn’t good enough. As I worked with Laura on my book, that all changed. Laura not only helped me accomplish my goal of publishing my book, but she has allowed me to start breaking away from the shell I have been in and start gaining more confidence in myself. If our paths would not have crossed, I don’t think my book would  have ever been published. She is a compassionate lady who will not only  listen to your story, but she will allow you to tell your story in your own words. On occasion she would offer her insights to make it even better.  It was like she knew exactly what I was thinking in my mind but couldn’t quite get it out in the story. She allowed me to tell my story the way I wanted to, but she would change a word or even a sentence to make it more clear and interesting.  She would always make sure I liked a sentence or word if she changed it from what I had written. I feel that as I worked with Laura, she was able to get to know me as a person, and I also got to know about her. It has been an honor and a privilege working with Laura.
